The Road To Hell….

Posted by Mummy Dearest on Apr-16-2002

I discovered blogs via Angie. She had been helping me out with my struggle to overcome my microsoft-phobia and learn to use FrontPage, which was essential for the work I have to do. One day, feeling rather lonely, I started my blog. Angie continued to be of great assistance to me, with things like ‘How to put a picture up’ and other basics. Some days, her stats must have revealed that I had been there 30- 40 times, checking out her code ( I’m a slow learner), trying to figure out how to do something.

So of course the first time that anyone linked to me ( it was Eurotrash. I treasure and recall each link to me as I do my children. And they are about the same number) I immediately rushed to tell Angie. She shared my excitement with me, let me gush and gloat, and then in a very polite way asked me when I was going to do something about my layout. ‘Soon’, I answered, ‘Soon’.

Well that was months ago, and I still haven’t done a thing about this layout. It’s a blogger template that was originally pea-soup green and has some problem inherent in it- yes, I know how it looks on one of those mega monitors. I should go to weblog wannabe and her great color book and get a new layout. No tables, a nice CSS layout, a microscopic font. Yes, that’s what I should do. I say this to myself at least once a day.

I suppose it’s the ‘should’ part that keeps me from doing this.
