and who’s going to be looking after the four-footed two-fifths of this gorgeous group while you-all are off carousing around wallyworld?
sue Said,
Hi Lynn ! Han will be watching them for the first three weeks and then they go to a nice place ( kennel/ farm) in the next town over. The guy who runs the place has large dogs himself, so he is very good with them.
The nice thing about having two dogs is that as long as they are together, they are happy.
But this heat is really tough on them.
melanie Said,
do they swim in the canals? I have to tell you, your kids have the best hair! Meg’s is so pretty. are they excited about traveling? what are they looking forward to the most?
I read somewhere that giving dogs icecubs to chew really reduces their body temperature – seems to work with our two (if you don’t mind very wet floors!)
sue Said,
mel, mostly, they are looking forward to swimming in the lake, at wicked step-mother’s brothers place.
But Dad is building up a lovely itinerary for us.
Tell me that a tea party will help…
( I really do need Catherine at this point. )
sue Said,
daisy- we have dogs to be a part of our family- I don’t mind the mess.
I shall try the ice-cubes.
They have been miserable in this heat- not eating at all ( not.at.all), and, well, have the runs.
Oh Sue, they just get more beautiful. Cute as puppies yes, but geogeous in adulthood.
Daisy, they are just barely 7 months old ! And look at those paws: they still haven’t grown into them.
I fear they shall become the size of black woolly mammoths !
