Hello! Just neglecting the boy for a few minutes to read your news – hope you’ve shaken off that cold. I’ll be in the office tomorrow – catch up with you then.
sue Said,
! Oh ! Hope that you had a fine week- did you all ( y’all- I’m practising) have the same fine weaher that we had here ?
you do have a huge cooker! Love it. I also love those cabinets. Quite beautiful.
I see he looks quite pleased with himself and his snazzy Coca Cola glass….lol.
sue Said,
Jo, this is the kitchen that this place is named after. Used to have another name, but during the two years that it took to rebuild ( mostly the kitchen), it became my place to bitch about the progress of the kitchen.
But now we are in the ‘and they lived happily ever after’ stage. Aw.
Is that what it’s called ? A ‘cooker’ ? I had no idea. Han fell in love with it at some kitchen store and insisted on getting it. It is grand, but I still don’t know how to really use it to it’s full potential.
But then. I went from what was basically a fancy hot-plate to this.
sue Said,
Oh, and on my list of chores today was to take photos of the porch, then put them on a CD for Han to take to City Hall. Coming inside, Mike asked me : take a picture of me ?
Plonk.
Julie Said,
Sue I love the tiles
in back they are very pretty
and its end result is beautiful… what time is
dinner ? hahahhaa
sue Said,
Well, Julie, thanks, and I’m sure that you are dying to know what fancy schmancy dinner I’m going to whip up tonight on the fancy schmancy ‘cooker’: tuna casserole !
Har !
Catherine Said,
We really did have a lovely time, thanks! *Newsflash* Callum got on beautifully with his cousin and wasn’t mean to him once, thank goodness. There was plenty to do, the forest was very pleasant, and it was very nice to spend time with Jo and Dave each evening.
Sorry Sally’s been having a tough time – hope things smooth out soon. Any progress on solving the mystery of who framed Mike?
sue Said,
Glad to hear it, really.
I spoke to the headteacher on Friday and there were still no leads.
Ugh- back to the grinstone- still have two beds to make, kitty litter to change and dinner to arrange ( aw, tuna casserole, how.. how American of me-)
