Today I received a shot of cortisone in my buttocks.

I have been crying since that moment, reminds one very much of being pregnant.

  1. Catherine Said,

    oh Sue, are you OK?

  2. Mary Said,

    In the buttocks??? Ouch!!!

  3. Mummy Dearest Said,

Catherine, I am fine. Sortof. My eczema is totally out of control ( think Creature from the Black Lagoon),distrubing my sleep to a remarkable extent.

And the allergies are not helping.

But I finally went to GP and said, oh, they once told me that I have eczema, learn to live with it, but it is so bad that I cannot do that any longer.

He also asked me of I was under any stress. Oh, didn’t they ask him about The baby being abused.

Yup, I’m totally f*cking stressed out.

  4. Mummy Dearest Said,

compared to the pain of the eczema, the shot was a piece of cake.

  5. Dorothy Said,

Many hugs Sue. Try & relax some, though the circumstances make that tough. Hope the Baby inquiry is resolved soon & that everything works out ok. Hope the meds help you feel better.

  6. Catherine Said,

Oh you poor thing, I really, really hope the cortisone helps with the eczema and the sleep.

  7. Cindy Said,

Sue, my thoughts have been with you and I finally was able to catch up on your site. ((hugs))

  8. Karan Said,

Ewww to both the ailment and the shot….it’s too bad the cortisone doesn’t help with the allergies too. I thought it was supposed to be a wonder drug.
