I Am Woman- Pasta Salad

I found that stinkin’ recipe.I know me, I would never make anything so red and white. There had to be basil in it.

I am not doing a translation. That it so tedious.

250g Fusilli.

The juice and the fancy name for the peel of one lemon.

5 Tablespoons of Olive oil.

Salt and freshly ground black pepper.

4 Tomatoes, de-seeded , cut into slivers.

200 grams smoked salmon, slivered.

2 Tablespoons of capers.

3 Tablespoons of slivered , fresh Basil.

75 grams of coarsely grated Parmesan cheese.

OK, no cheese, we all know this. No capers. Gone. We did not like the Olive Oil, so we used cheap oil instead.

None of that lemon peel. We added a teaspoon of sugar. I think.

We doubled everything. We have some big eaters here.

Once you chop everything up, this really takes about ten minutes to make.

You cook the fusilli, whatever the bag says and rinse it off in cold water. Let it drain in a colander.

Whisk up the dressing, mix half of the basil in and everything else.

Use the rest of the basil as garnish.

Garnish.

I am not a garnish sortof person.

I have a deep craving for Codfish Balls.

This really is not the balls of some poor fish.
