Vegan General Tso’s Tofu! ????????????
Ingredients

For the Tofu

1 block of medium firm to firm tofu
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

For The Sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp apple vinegar (you can use any vinegar you have!)
2 tbsp raw sugar
1 to 3 tsp sambal (adjust to your taste)
? cup vegetable stock
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp lao gan ma, chili oil with chili flakes (purchase or make homemade one!)
3 to 5 dried Thai chilis
2 cloves garlic, chopped
sesame seeds

    That’s A LOT of ingredients but it looks really good! Go for it!

    I would like to like tofu, it would be very convenient when not sure about the carnivore options. Every now and then I’ll try a tofu dish in the hope that at last I’ll have found the one where the tofu actually tastes of something, but no joy so far. That sauce looks good, it could be the one that makes tofu tasty.

    Tofu is a good way to add protein to smoothies. Use the soft unflavored version and blend it. Here’s a vegan version my lactose intolerant friend really likes and I like without the banana.
